I hate how when I write in a chat my smiley faces turn into icons. How horrible is that?
This is why I write them backwards, like this: (:
When I want to type in a toothy smiley, like this :D, it is often disfigured so I type it like this: (: !
The exclamation point (!) makes the smiley transform from a simple smiley to a toothy smiley.
